Mark LaPre, CPA, Controller, Karuna Therapeutics

Mark LaPre, CPA, is the Controller at Karuna Therapeutics. He joined the Company approximately 2.5 years ago. Prior to joining Karuna, he worked in public accounting for approximately 11 years, spending time at both Deloitte and RSM, on a wide variety of clients and industries but with a focus on financial services and public companies. Mark has been at Karuna through its IPO in 2019 as well as two secondary offerings, and his focus is on helping to grow and scale the financial accounting and reporting function at the Company, which spans across expansion of the team, implementation of new systems (i.e. Coupa, ERP), overseeing accounting treatment and reporting, and other financial projects and objectives.
